Nesotriccus sp

Nesotruccus ssp.

This is a Tyrannulet found in the city of Loja in 2022. It was found by chance since I heard a different sound or voice in the trees. that was just in the down town of the city in the Malacatos river on the sides where are sauces trees and others. At first to spot the bird was hard to see it, but after a time I´m watching them better, since they stay in an area all the time. They have been breeding until now twice. I´m not sure but according its voice is alike to the Nesotriccus murinus guagae of the east side. Loja is a 2100 meters. So probably more research is nedded tom know exactly which bird is.Nesot
