Upland Sandpiper Bartramia Longicauda Southern Ecuador Loja

Upland Sandpiper Bartramia longicauda was found in the dowtown of the city of Loja Ecuador, on thursday september 5 very early in the morning. The bird was found dead on the sidewalk, then I colected the specimen. What would be the cause of his death ?. There are some cameras nearby…I hope to get some information soon.
