Upland Sandpiper Loja Ecuador

Migrant Bird, according Ridgely this species is scarse and erratic transient from august – octuber. It is found  in open grassy areas  including paramo.This Upland Sandpiper Bartramia longicauda Pradero Colilargo was found in the dowtown of the city of Loja Ecuador, on thursday september 5 very early in the morning. The bird was found dead on the sidewalk, then colected by Pablo Andrade. 

The specimen was found by Oswaldo Mora.
