Birding Along the Bombuscaro River

The Bombuscaro River is one of the best places to explore the birdlife of Podocarpus National Park. Birding along the river allows us to combine the search for birds with the unique scenery of its clear, fast-flowing waters and forested slopes. Early mornings are especially rewarding, when bird activity is high and the forest comes alive with calls and movement.

Along the river and surrounding trails, we can look for species associated with the forest, riverbanks and nearby vegetation, making this an excellent area for both birdwatching and photography.
