Hiking and birding along the road and trails around the visitor center.
Target birds: Gray breasted Mountain Toucan, Bearded Guan and many others.
12.30 Leave and return to loja.
OPTION 2
PODOCARPUS N. PARK – TROPICAL FOREST, BOMBUSCARO RIVER. ZAMORA.
05h30 – 06h30 Leave to Zamora.
Time of trip 02h15 minutes
Hiking and birding along the road and trails in the Podocarpus National Park
Target Birds: Amazonian Umbrella bird, Coopery chested Jacamar, hummingbirds and many others.
14h30 Return to Loja. End.

PODOCARPUS N. PARK – CLOUD FOREST, TAPICHALACA RESERVE, ZAMORA.
05h30 Leave to Zamora. Time of trip 02h20 minutes
Hiking and birding along the road and trails in the Tapichalaca Reserve.
Birding in the reserve and seeing many hummingbirds at the feeders.
15h30 Return to Loja. End.

NANGARITZA RIVER. AMAZON BASIN.
Boat Trip along the Nangaritza River.
Nangaritza River is located at 4h30 minutes from the city of Loja.
2 days 1 night.
Leaving from Loja at 05h00,
and return to Loja the next day after lunch.
