The lourdes street in the city of Loja, is one of the most colorfull places to visit. The lourdes street is one of the narrowest street in the city; and where houses keep the antique constructions from the colonial period. The facades of the houses have been painted with atractive colors. To improve and keep this atractive place, the street now is pedestrian.

Artesanias Quapac Ñan, is a small store located at the Lourdes where you can find a series of diferents hyandmade crafts which represents part of our culture from all over Ecuador and mainly from south of Ecuador.
One of the representatives handmade crafts are from the Saraguro Culture as:
CHAKIRA WEAVING WITH LITTLE STONES: it is organozed by women from Saraguro, they make waved necklaces, bracelets, purses and a variety and jewerly. The production is generated from the group of women and particular families.

WOODEN BARRELS.
Don Napoleón Andrade, was one of the craftsman enterprising in the city of Loja, which was the started in this particular craft of the Wooden Barrels, which was valued for many people from all over Ecuador.
